Barium - Zinc Stabilizer (TP – 101)

Description:

       Stabilizer TP – 101 is a concentrated, self – lubricating liquid stabilizer composed of Barium and Zinc derivatives.  It gives excellent heat stability, transparency and initial color.

Properties:

                     Appearance:                        Clear pale liquid

                     Color:                                  5 G max.

                     Specific Gravity (at 25°C):       0.87 – 0.90

 Applications:

           It is a general purpose, economical stabilizer that is free from Cadmium and can be used for flexible PVC formulations. It gives very good initial color and color control and can be used for crystal clear PVC.  It also has sulfur stain resistance.

     -       In calendaring, it is for flexible semi-rigid PVC films and sheets.

-          In extrusion, it is for flexible PVC sheets and hoses.

-          In molding injection, it is for flexible PVC compounds.

 Note:

           Since it is a self – lubricating stabilizer, it can be used alone.  In other words, it can be used with or without some other lubricants.

 Recommended Dosage:

             1 to 2.5 phr depending upon process conditions and plasticizer concentration.

 Packing: 

             180 kg. in steel drums
